i need detailed chara-info

hi all


i’m finally in the mood to draw hdm-stuff again, but it has been a while since i last read the books and i lent my own copies to a friend of mine. that’s why i can’t look up the details myself and need your help.
however, a few years ago i wrote down the characteristics of some of the characters. but I’m not sure, whether my list is correct or not. i’d appreciate any further information, corrections or affirmations.

Hi there.

It's great that your'e drawing all of the characters and paying attention to all of these details. You got me flipping through all the books again!
It would be nice to see your interpretation of the characters, especially since Iv'e been having a go at some of them myself.

Anyway:
here are some descriptions I found .

Lord Asriel is described in NL chapter 1 as: "she...marvelled at the contrast he made with the plump butler, the stooped and languid scholars. Lord Asriel was a tall man with powerful sholders, a fierce dark face and eyes that seemed to flash and glitter with savage laughter... his movements were ...like those of a wild animal, and...in a room like this he seemed like a wild animal held in a cage too small for it." If I drew him I'd try to capture his sort of wild power and dominating appearance.

Mrs. Coulter has blue eyes. I'm almost positive she's 35 years of age. There's a thread somewhere about her age, and Lord Asriel's too.

Mary Malone is indeed in her late thirties, and she has short black hair. I don't know if this is correct, but Iv'e always imagined her with glasses. (Can anyone confirm this?)

I don't think Lyra has freckles.

thanks a lot. really.

right now i'm working on a drawing depicting will and lyra. but it will take a while before i'll be able to finish it. furthermore i don't have a scanner right now (it royally sucks).
