His Dark Materials money, you say? 9 Dust

Well, this is an art project from last year. The assignment was to create a bill out of anything we wanted, using any of the media/techniques that we had used that year. I used several for this piece, primarily pen and ink (teh fancy ink, yah).



Now, I'm not sure what they'd call the currency in Lyra's world, but I found "Dust" to be fitting and I'm sure that they'd slap Lyra on a bill.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with it. Unfortunately, the scanner took away from it (funny, seeing how it normally make things prettier), but...I guess a bad crafts men blames his mistakes on his tools, right? Well, something like that. Anyways, like I said, I like it, but not gonna lie, Pan's a bit messed up. XD
