Well, do yourself a favor, and contribute a couple of bucks!
I think that this site is worth throwing a couple of bucks at, don’t you?
No amount is too small…and every little bit helps!

We know that a lot of you may not be able to do Paypal, or have a lot of money to send. We know that services like Western Union are expensive. So, here’s the deal: all Americans on the site can send cash snail mail through me. In turn, I* will send the Western Union (and pay the associated fees) to the site administrator.

If each person on this site sent one dollar to help defer costs, a better server could be gotten and maintained for the next two years.

It really takes so little to help out so much.

For the last couple of years, our Senior Administrator has been doing all of this out of his own pocket. How about helping the guy out? For helping him out, you’ll reap the reward.

Think about it.

How does Paypal work? Can Brits use it?

Everybody can use it. Paypal means that you can send someone money using your credit card without the other person being able to view your creditcard details. If you click on the images to the right, on the frontpage you can set up an account...

Paypal is a great tool - for those with a credit card. I only have debit cards (credit cards are the work of the devil), so Paypal kind of gave me hell. They wanted to deposit a couple of cents into my account and then take them out. Said I'd have to wait until my bank statement till I could use it.

This is why I sent my donation via Western Union. But they asked me for US$15 bucks as a processing fee on top of my donation. That's why I'd rather do a mass money transfer from a bunch of people from the US.

I don't have a credit card either and I refuse to get one until I'd really need one. I only have a debit card and I can't afford those kinds of processing fees - I'm only a student! Sorry. I really wish I could donate something though.

Might I add that really really well concealed money works good too! As in inside a card or like a bunch of papers.....

If anyone honestly wanted to send cash that is more than like a buck, I suggest you insure it. For $1.30 US, the letter's arrival is confirmed.

No pressure... just suggestions....

Another way is just to fly to the netherlands, drive/ride to the middle of it and hand it over personally. If you're in luck and LA is at home you might get a cup of tea too

I think I'd go for L!nk's suggestion, as right now I've got Stelmaria's problem (student, no credit card, no clue of propper English to find out more ways...) but I'm searching for new ways to colaborate... :roll:

I have a check card, but I don't have a lot of money in it, and all the money in it has to go to any and all college expenses that I may have this year (I'm starting my first college semester this fall). As soon as I know what I'll need and what I won't, I'll gladly donate some moolah.

We accept anything, so long as it can somehow be converted to euros.

If you go through something like Paypal, or Western Union, they do the conversions for you.

Would it be ethically wrong to bake the cookies, then sell them to yourself?

Perhaps you should find someone with paypal, get them to make the donation (by paying them first), then bake the cookies, then eat them.
