Biography
Jack Shepherd (born 29 October 1940 in Yorkshire, England) is a proficient actor, renowned for his wide array of television drama series roles. A fine arts graduate of Newcastle University, he began his acting career working for the Royal Court Theatre, moving on to appear in many television dramas, most notably the titular role of Wycliffe (1993-1998). Jack is also an adept Jazz musician, playing the saxophone, piano and flute.
