These books get shipped in between other obligations [...] What you're getting: a copy of the book signed by me and by artist Tim Kirk; an inscription by me to you and your daemon; two randomly selected GOLDEN COMPASS trading cards from Inkworks; several frames of the GOLDEN COMPASS movie trailer in an acetate sleeve; and a signed print by Tim Kirk of his "Lyra in Oxford" painting. All of these items arrive in a plastic bag for protection and they're shipped in a bubble-wrap bag by media mail (US Postal Service). Delivery is probably 1-3 weeks, depending on how far you live from the East Coast.

I usually ship within 24 hours after Marijn Scholtus sends me a list of who should get them, and they go out by media mail through the US Postal Service, which can take a week (usually) or up to 2 weeks (sometimes), depending on how far you are from Virginia.
However, I’ve held off shipping recent copies because I’m waiting for my order of the GOLDEN COMPASS trading cards to arrive. I’m including one pack of cards with each book sent out as an additional freebie. So it’ll be worth it, esp. if you get one of the rare cards—a fabric card.

Hi, I was a winner on December 10, and I was wondering how long it takes for the prize to arrive. I know the time listed is 1-3 weeks, but were some delayed due to the holidays?
