October 19th marks His Dark Materials author Philip Pullman's Birthday, and we'd like to wish him all the best. With help from some of our friends in the sraf.org network, we've gathered together a small "bundle of material" for fans of the author to discover.
- In celebration of the dæmon - what some would hail as Pullman's greatest literary creation - HisDarkMaterials.org is announcing the soon-to-launch re-vamped version of our previous Dæmon name generator. Fans of The Golden Compass and the His Dark Materials trilogy can look forward to a new "Dæmonator" to find both dæmon names and forms. The new "Dæmonator" will premiere soon: stay tuned!
- Don't forget to enter the contest for a chance to win a copy of author George Beahm's Discovering The Golden Compass - a title celebrating Pullman's achievements in the His Dark Materials trilogy.
