The Golden Compass has won an award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in the category of "Special Visual Effects." The visual effects team was led by Michael Fink, Bill Westenhofer, Ben Morris, and Trevor Wood.

Yes Congrats to the film crew and lets hope that it wins a few awards at the Oscars. Way to go for The Golden Compass.

My sincerest compliments to Michael Fink and his team, they did did an excellent job.
I’m still rather annoyed at the fact that Alexandre Desplat did not win a BAFTA!
