Interviews with Sam Elliott and Eva Green

Tagged with The Golden Compass 8 comments

This tuesday we got to do a couple of interviews on camera in London. Sam Elliott and Eva Green were up for a short talk which you can view below. Chris Weitz was up for a bit longer, and we'll post that one once we're done editing the footage.

HisDarkMaterials.org interviews Sam Elliott

Sam Elliott talks about how Chris Weitz got him to play Lee Scoresby's character, Westerns and cowboys, and his experience with acting with styrofoam blocks.

HisDarkMaterials.org interviews Eva Green

Eva Green reveals how she got involved with the project, her special bond with Serafina Pekkala's character and the infamous on-set swearbox.

Ok...I would seriously turn lesbian for Eva Green. She’s just so god damn beautiful! And she’s so perfect for Serafina, I can’t even say what a great bit of casting that is.

#8 Swear jar

Funny, my swear jar is now up to 40,000$ so my wife is going to renovate the bathroom and kitchen.  Swearing has its benefits.
