Initial projections have panned out as The Golden Compass film topped $300 million in foreign markets while simultaneously not making it to $100 million in the US market.

Thats good news, and even though it didn’t top 100 million in the states, this can only help, not hurt, the green-lighting of The Subtle Knife!

and it’s the 13th most successful release of ‘07 and just $12.4M off being the at #12 for ‘07 - which with China and Japan still in play it may well do....:-)
