IGN.com posts a new clip from The Golden Compass. Titled 'A Bear's Armor,' it features the longest piece of continuous acting from both Ian McKellan voicing Iorek Byrnison, and actress Dakota Blue Richards as Lyra.
The second clip from MySpace.com shows the beginning of the fight between Iorek Byrnison and Ragnar Sturlusson.

Wow, watching Iorek’s eyes especially is fascinating. McKellan doesn’t sound an inch himself, it’s odd, he sounds fine though.

Ok ill take back what I said about Ian Kellen I think she sounds fine as Iorek and Dakota Looks good in it also no Complaints here bring on the 7th.

This is absolutely lovely! I now see that Dakota is just so perfect for Lyra, anyone who still doesn’t like her as Lyra is crazy.

In the Myspace clip, Lyra sticks out in an odd way from her CGI surroundings. It doesn’t look natural. Hopefully that’ll be better when it’s viewed in context.

My lord… I’m sorry, but while Dakota looks absolutely perfect for the role, she cannot act her way out of a paper bag. That scene is almost cringeworthy.
And Ian Mckellen sounds retarded as Iorek. It just sounds like Ian Mckellen. It makes him sound like an elderly person and I just don’t think that’s the vibe you’re meant to get from Iorek. Th original voice was much MUCH better.
The effects do look lovely. But, not happy.

I still think Dakota is the only one for the role, but… I’m not impressed with her acting. Maybe it was her lines that didn’t really go the way Lyra would say them.

Wow!!!!. Iorek was so cool in that clip!!!!. He has a really deep voice. The fight looks also really great. Sadly we didnt hear Ragnar yelling: Is that All?. He sounds menacing in that roar.

both are awesome, not entirely as the book goes, but hey, its still good work. the fight was pure ownage in a bag and so is ragnurs badass spiky armour!
