Biography
Known for his roles in mostly Western movies and television show, Sam Elliott has been typecast in Hollywood as a cowboy. Like many actors, Sam began on the stage, but soon quickly crossed over to film for his naturally suited adventurer roles. He is married to a co-star from "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", fellow actress, Katharine Ross, with whom he shares a child. His most memorable films include "Gettysburg", "We Were Soldiers" and "The Hulk".
