Simon McBurney
Biography
Simon McBurney (born 25 August 1957 in Cambridge, England) is a gifted stage actor and director. He co-founded the acclaimed theatre company Complicite in 1983 and continues to remain its artistic director. Simon has directed and acted in over 24 plays and won several international awards, including the honour of being named an Officer of the British Empire in the 2005 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to drama. As an actor he has appeared in numerous theatre, radio, television and film roles. As a further display of his versatility, he is also a co-writer of Mr. Bean’s Holiday (2007), the sequel to 1997’s Bean: The Movie.
