Dennis Gassner (Production Designer)
Biography
Dennis Gassner (born 1948) is an Academy Award winning production designer who has played a leading role in creating the visual feel of numerous critically acclaimed movies. He won the Best Art Direction Oscar for 1992’s “Bugsy” and was also nominated in the same year for his work on “Barton Fink”. He has more recently worked on Tim Burton’s highly acclaimed film “Big Fish” and Sam Mendes’s “Road to Perdition”, for which he was nominated for another Academy Award. Dennis also earned praise and a BAFTA award win for his work on Peter Weir’s “The Truman Show”.
