Aztec

The Aztecs are an ancient civilisation from Mexico. Rich and powerful, they regularly sacrificed slaves and citizens to the Gods to appease them. Centred in the great city of Tenochtitlan, they ruled much of present-day Mexico. They were wiped out when the Spanish landed in Mexico, and mistaking their leader as a God on earth, they welcomed the army into their great cities of gold.

Greed overwhelmed the Spanish, and they quickly destroyed the Aztec civilisation.
