This is the alias used by Lyra after being kidnapped the Gyptian rescue party and sold to the Gobblers at Bolvangar. 'Lizzie' was a daughter of a trader who sells smokeleaf to buy furs. Lizzie is an eleven year old from London, shy, nervous and can also be described as insignificant.

Lyra uses the alias "Lizzie" again as cover in Will's world where Lizzie is Lizzie Ransom, sister to Mark Ransom.
