Cliff-Ghasts are not dissimilar to the Harpies of the Land of the Dead, although they live in the North. Unlike Harpies, however, it seems there are two genders of cliff-ghast, rather than the single female Harpie gender. Cliff Ghasts are far from benevolent; killing Arctic Foxes and travellers for little reason other than fun. They are scavengers and raiders, but primarily predators. Their name for the Subtle Knife is Æsahættr
