Continent

A Continent is one the geographical groupings of land masses on the Earth's surface. By convention in Our World, is it usually agreed that there are seven continents: Europe; Asia; Africa; Australasia (Oceania); North America; South America; and Antarctica. However, this grouping only applies for the current geological era, as due to the process of plate tectonics, different arrangements have existed in the past -- including one "supercontinent", Pangaea, which existed about 250 million years ago.
