Summary
Dr Cooper was one of the men who was questioned by Mrs Coulter after the escape of the dæmons from the dæmon cages. He and his team also captured Lyra, almost severing her from Pan, before Mrs. Coulter intervened.
Dr. Cooper reappears later at the College of St. Jerome in the hands of The Consistorial Court of Discipline. He is forced to design the bomb set to destroy Lyra.

- Dr. Cooper was renamed in the National Theatre's stage play, likely because Dominic Cooper acted in the lead male role of William Parry.
