Will Parry's father. A famous explorer from Our World who went missing in the Arctic, in Alaska, searching for the Anomaly while surveying for the Nuniatak Dig. Also known as Jopari and Stanislaus Grumman, he became a shaman in a Tartar tribe. Aided by Lee Scoresby, went in search of the knife-bearer in TSK, only to be killed by a witch he had spurned (named Juta Kamainen), right after he and Will recognized each other. His aliases are Jopari and Stanislaus Grumman.
