The New Testament is a collection of books in Christian Bible that follow the Old Testament. The books were written by various authors and in different time periods. The language of the original texts of the New Testament was Koine Greek. The books include accounts of the life of Jesus Christ, which are called Gospels, accounts of Apostles' ministries, letters by various authors called "Epistles" and the book of Revelation which is a prophecy of the Apocalypse.
