Nordic Languages

Nordic languages is a name for all the languages spoken in Scandinavia and other countries far north. The countries belonging to this category are Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland. The finnish language is primarley spoken in Finland. It stands out from the other nordic languages since it belongs to the Finno-Ugric language family, instead of the Germanic family of the other countires like Sweden or Denmark.
