Old Testament

The Old Testament is a collection of books that are part of Christian Bible and Hebrew Tanakh. It was composed between the 12th and the 2nd centuries BC. The books of the Old Testament include the narrative of the creation of the world, the account of the Israelites leaving Egypt, books of law and history and prophecies. The Old Testament is the base of the three Abrahamic religions: Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.
