Poppy

Poppy is a plant characterised by its bright red petals. It is most commonly associated with Remembrence of those who died in the wars (most specifically, World War 1, the Great War).

It has another use though, and a more insidious one. Poppy can be used to produce several dangerous drugs, the most common of which is Opium. It is the poppy seeds that are used to synthesise the drugs.
