Poppy Heads

Heads of a flower known as the poppy, an internationally recognized recreational drug (as opium). It is prepared by being split in half, put in a chafing dish on top of a flame, and buttered. At the hand of the Master of Jordan, it is served after all feasts. Said to have a way of clearing the mind and giving rise to interesting conversations, it is served in the Retiring Room during Lord Asriel's funding application.
