Common Raven
The Common Raven (Corvus corax) is a large black bird in the corvid family. They are distinguished by their heavy black bill, ruff of feathers on the throat, and their tendency to glide like raptors.
Ravens are one of the most widespread bird species in the world, having settled on all continents except Antarctica.
