Raymond van Gerrit

Raymond van Gerrit, a Gyptian man, who asked in at a first meeting whether it was their intention to save landloper kids as well as gyptian children. He later announced in a second meeting of the Gyptians (in the Golden Compass) that Parliament was not going to allow the Gyptians to pass the waters freely because Lyra was in their midst. After being rebuked by John Faa he was ridiculed by the Gyptians for his cowardice.
