Perhaps someone with time to sift through the books should add something about the 4-dimensional structure of the clouded mountain.

I would have, but my sentence might not be entirely accurate, and it just was a plain disgrace to anyone who may respect grammar... :)

This is what I would have added on to the existing article.

When the angel Baruch explains to Will what the Clouded Mountain is, he mentions that it was not always so concealed by clouds, long ago. When Marisa Coulter sees the structure behind the clouds, she relates it to something a philosopher in her own world once theorized. This philosopher tried to explain that a four dimensional figure could exist, and even built a model to show what it might look like. Before the model was destroyed and the philosopher silenced by the Church, Marisa saw the model, and upon seeing the inside of the Clouded Mountain, reflected that the mountain was somewhat similar.
